Doonside Public School had a fantastic Book Giving Assembly on
Thursday the 29th November 2012 with their Role Model Janine Dawson
being able to attend. The kids enjoyed listening to Janine talk about her work
as an illustrator and even had a table set up with some of her work in the
library. The kids were so delighted to receive their book bags filled with
their chosen books.
After the assembly, Janine spent an hour with our 5/6 class
sharing her drawing knowledge. They were thrilled to hear what Janine did and
she helped them to produce some great drawings!
A special thanks from Doonside Public School to Sam Forzisi and
Corey Braid from Mainfreight Australia for
coming to their Book Giving Assembly and helping distribute the new books as
