A great morning at Auburn North Public School! Books in Homes Australia had the pleasure to invite Lynda Calder, an author, Scout Leader, St Ambulance volunteer and Nationally Badge Netball Umpire, to be a special guest for the Auburn North Public School Book Giving Assembly. UWS sponsor representative, Samantha  Romeo, also attended the assembly to present the books chosen by the students.

Students read poetry, received their book in the book bags, presented Certificate of Participation awards for completing the comprehension competition on the Books in Homes Catalogue and 2M and the NAP students sang a FANTASTIC song inspired from the students of Ocoee Middle School in the U.S.!

THANK YOU University of Western Sydney, Higher Education Participation Program - Bridges to Higher Education for sponsoring 18 schools in Greater Western Sydney including Auburn North Public School.
